Planmeca Viso®

The Planmeca Viso G5/G7 is the latest generation of 3D CT scanners, Planmeca's flagship device, launched in 2017. This model is considered a significant and impressive step forward in the development of 3D imaging in dentistry.

Two devices, but sharing the same outstanding features.

For the Planmeca Viso® G7, the FOV size can be adjusted between 3x3 and 30x30 cm, while the Planmeca Viso® G5 supports FOV sizes from 3x3 to 20x17 cm. This product line is suitable for dental hospitals and clinics performing major maxillofacial surgeries.

The intuitive positioning support for the shooting area is unmatched by any other device.

Live Virtual FOV Positioning: Patient positioning is performed directly from the Planmeca Viso control panel using the built-in camera and live patient view. Users can view the patient directly from the control panel for flexible and accurate FOV positioning. The FOV size can also be freely adjusted.

Tube Head Voltage: 120 kV

The Planmeca Viso 120 kV Tub Head option optimizes image quality for challenging imaging scenarios – reducing image artifacts and ensuring excellent image quality, even when imaging patients with larger heads. The large Tube Head allows for high and continuous imaging throughout the day without overheating or requiring frequent restarts. It is particularly suitable for maxillofacial surgery clinics or dental hospitals with a large patient volume.

High-resolution endodontic images

3D endodontic imaging often contains noise due to the high resolution required to capture fine details. Planmeca Viso®'s new 3D endodontic imaging mode overcomes this problem and allows for clear and smooth CBCT images, perfect for endodontics. In addition to offering a new unit, the new imaging mode is a default option available on Planmeca Viso devices with the latest software update.
