Product Description
Description

Thanks to their compelling aesthetic properties, porcelain veneers are now very popular in the United States. In addition, the supply of porcelain veneers is also becoming increasingly common in Germany. And today, aesthetic veneers have become a scientifically recognized method for restoring anterior and canine teeth.

One of the prerequisites for the success of a porcelain veneer clinical procedure is conservative and systematic preparation. This presents a particular challenge for the dentist: On the one hand, it is necessary to determine the specific amount of tooth tissue that needs to be removed. On the other hand, the procedure must not be too invasive into the enamel. In collaboration with Lecturer Dr. Ahlers, we have developed depth markers that allow for safe control of penetration depth.

These tools are included in the 4388 veneer preparation kit. This kit, called "KeramikVeneers.de," is compiled with the recommendations of GSDOM (German Society for Oral Dentistry and Medicine) to guide and ensure high-quality preparation procedures.

Veneer grinding bit set 4388

Special features of the 4388 veneer grinding bit set

  • Specially designed depth markers (868B) define the required grinding depth (0.3 and 0.4 mm), resulting in a depth of 0.4 or 0.5 mm in the final preparation after completion.
  • The narrow sections of the working part of the depth-marking drill bit are coated with a not-too-fine diamond layer, ensuring efficient tooth preparation without generating excessive heat at the bottom of the prepared grooves.

The tools inside:

  • This 4388 veneer restoration specialist set includes: medium-grained (100 μm) rough-ground diamond tapered tips (868) and fine-grained (30 μm) finishing tips (8868) to match the depth marker tips. The depth marker, rough-ground, and finishing tips are all uniformly sized (tapered with rounded tips).
  • Two sizes in combination cover all indications in the anterior tooth region.
  • The egg-shaped diamond coarse grinding head (379) and the corresponding finishing tool (8379) allow for the preparation of functionally adjustable inner veneers.
  • In cases where excess composite needs to be removed, it can be removed under complete control with a smooth interdental cutting tip (852EF) or with an egg-shaped finishing tip (379EF), both of which are coated with ultrafine particles (particle size: 15 μm).
