The preparation of ceramic abutments and all-ceramic restorations has become a daily challenge for dentists. Comprehensive series of tests have been carried out and as a result we have proposed special ZR roughing instruments with diamond grains, which perfectly meet the above special requirements. The solution is a special adhesive, which firmly bonds the diamond grains so that these grinding instruments have a longer service life and a significantly better grinding capacity than conventional diamond instruments. Different grits are available to suit the respective indications. Cutting of all-ceramic restorations is best done with coarse-grain instruments (green/white circle). When grinding and trying on restorations, it is advisable to use finer instruments with medium (blue/white circle) or fine (red/white circle) grits. The special ZR Komet abrasive instruments are perfectly created for precise operation on all-ceramic restorations and will certainly become an invaluable aid in any dental procedure.
