The main tool in this set is the 856 drill bit (rounded, with different sizes and grit types). Experts chose it for its perfect suitability for preparing well-defined curves, characterized by a uniformly rounded inner angle.

Press the instrument down to half its diameter into the tooth, creating a distinct curved margin with a radius of 0.8 mm, ensuring sufficient removal of tooth tissue and rounded inner corners. Both of these aspects are considered key requirements for successful porcelain preparation. On the one hand, a large radius helps avoid margin preparation.

On the other hand, the larger 0.21 diameter creates a smooth surface without grooves or roughness, especially during the finishing process. The ideal amount of tooth tissue is removed to ensure sufficient material thickness of 1.0 to 1.5 mm. Therefore, we offer a full range of instruments with two diameters in this set: 0.21 for larger teeth and 0.18 for smaller teeth. The instruments have a 2° conical taper.
